Training
Constant learning is a priority for COEPA, through the training of employers and employees, both those who are working, as well as those who are unemployed.
To achieve this COEPA has a training department and a modern infrastructure which is perfect for that purpose, both in COEPA’s main building, as well as in the regional offices for business information.
Training activities
The highly qualified team of staff and the collaboration of teaching experts in the different areas of training make it posible to carry out the following activities:
- Studies of training needs
- Creation of training plans, management, evaluation and other complementary activities.
- How to give training courses, both in person and on-line.
Training activities are centred mainly on the areas of business administration and management, marketing, languages and new technologies and are aimed both at employees who are working, as well as the unemployed.
Centre for health and safety training and the building trade
COEPA is promoting the creation of a centre for health and safety training and the building trade, a teaching combination aimed at improving the ratings of Alicante workers in the construction sector and related professions, regarding health and safety.
This project allows the principle of integrated training to be put into practice as a formula which allows for, on the one hand, the acquisition of the necessary knowledge to carry out a professional activity, and on the other hand, for this learning process to examine in detail right from the start the health and safety to be applied to each work process, task or routine.
The definitive set-up integrates two architectural elements which share a surface area of more than 3,500m2: the risks at work simulator, consisting of a building structure where the most common risk situations on a building site are reconstructed, and a building made up of practical and theory classrooms, which also houses an administration area and a meeting room.
