CEPYME-Alicante is a provincial business organisation of a confederate and intersectorial nature, whose priorities are the defence, representation and promotion of the interests of small and medium enterprises, as well as those of the self-employed.

CEPYME-Alicante belongs to the national organisation CEPYME, which is recognised for being the most highly representative of its kind in Spain.

The aims of CEPYME-Alicante are:

• To promote and defend the system of free initiative and the market economy.
• To cooperate with the civil service and social partners to achieve stable growth within the necessary environment of social tranquility, with the aim of achieving a better quality of life for Alicante’s society.
• To act in defence of the interests of micro, small and medium enterprises with total independence.
• To serve as an instrument of union and coordination between member organisations, promoting a spirit of solidarity among them.
• To represent the small and medium enterprise in all forums in which questions affecting the business collective represented are debated.
• To meet the demands for information, training and investigation in companies, analysing and revealing which topics may affect the promotion and development of the micro, small and medium enterprise.
• To promote the creation of associations and federations in those sectors and subsectors in which they have not already been established.
• To help entrepreneurs to get their projects up and running with the necessary advice and information.
