La Confederación Empresarial de la Provincia de Alicante (COEPA), founded in 1978, is the organisation which represents Alicante’s employers. 90% of companies from all productive sectors of the region have joined voluntarily.

These companies make their presence known in the confederation via federations and associations, both sectorial and regional, as well as those which, due to their particular characteristics, are not integrated in any of these groups. In turn, COEPA forms a part of CIERVAL, the confederation which brings together employers from the Comunidad Valenciana and from the CEOE, the organisation which unites employers on a national scale.

COEPA identifies fully with the development of the region and because of this constantly analyses economic and socio and occupational activity in order to make proposals which contribute towards improving wellbeing and increasing the competitivity of our companies.

The confederation works hard constantly so that the province can have the necessary infrastructures at its disposal to set it on the right track for the future.

In this sense COEPA is a delegate for the business collective in all forums: before the civil service, the rest of the social agents, the media and society in general.
